Today the predicted temperature is 31 degrees Celsius for Coffs Harbour and everyone is talking Spring! The crisp mornings are disappearing which were almost the only sign of Winter we had this year. The balmy days have been incredible and all our customers have been as happy as Larry, singing the praises of carefree mini foodie holidays on our beachside deck, sometimes spotting whales out to sea or pods of dolphins swimming through the azure blue waves. They feel like they are in paradise!
Matt Donovan, our Executive Chef has started changing his specials board to reflect the warmth and beauty of spring and the produce now in season.
Today on the Specials Board:
Fresh Atlantic Salmon (freshly caught salmon has to be tasted to be believed, it’s amazing) which is simply grilled with lemon and served with a salad of orange segments, celery, cos lettuce, toasted almonds & buttered chat potatoes (also known as spring potatoes).
Thai Fishcakes with Asian Salad, sweet chilli, lime & crispy noodles – a taste sensation, light and lovely.
