The daylight hours are dwindling, the mercury is dropping and there’s a distinct coolness in the evening air. It may seem a bit strange, but Autumn is one of our favourite times at Donovan’s Surf Club Restaurant and Bar. 

Fabulous Functions

Although the weather is cooler this time of year, Autumn is the perfect time to be holding events. The humidity has all but gone, but the days are still pleasantly warm. The annual humpback whale migration is well underway, and, with our panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, you can spot these magnificent creatures making their way north to warmer waters. 

Our functions operate all year round, so whether it’s a small family gathering, a long lunch with the ladies, or a full-sized function, contact us to discuss your unique needs. PS if you book your function midweek, you can save on venue hire fees too!

High Tea

Did you know we offer high tea?! Perfect for hen’s gatherings or baby showers, we’ll provide the views and food for your group of 20+. Our menu features a range of sweet and savoury favourites, served buffet style. The toughest choice you’ll need to make is if you want tea, coffee, chai or hot chocolate! 

Autumn Brekkie Special Continues

The $13 Autumn Brekkie Special is your choice between a Three Stack Pancake with blueberries, maple syrup, and whipped cinnamon butter, or Free Range Eggs with semi-sourdough toast, rasher bacon, and baby spinach. We’re dishing up this special every Monday through to Friday between 8am-11am for a limited time. Why not add a Botero Coffee, Jilly’s Tea, or one of our smoothies?
