Spring at the Surf Club

Lots going on around here this month as we head into the middle of Spring, Summer not far away!

Nippers has started for the season with lots of little ones participating every Sunday, great to see our up and coming Life Savers around the Club.

Whales have been spotted, breaching and spouting. It’s always very exciting to see one of our huge ocean friends waving to us on the deck (it feels like it)!

Heaps of skydivers have been leaping from the sky above the Club lately.  We can usually hear them scream while hurtling towards Park Beach and sometimes even hear them swearing!  The weather has been so beautiful and there are so many tourists around enjoying the Coffs Coast. It’s great to see all our venues busy and bustling.

Muttonbird Island is full of daytrippers and walking enthusiasts at this time of year.  The view from the “bird” is stunning, its a must-do for visitors.

Twilight Markets on Friday nights in Park Beach Reserve near the Club is back on, offering food stalls and music. A perfect outing for families and friends. The picnic rugs and eskies are out and the atmosphere is magnificent.

Spring has definitely sprung!
