Brrr, can you feel that?! Right on cue, the mercury dropped and these Coffs Coast evenings definitely have that winter chill to them. Luckily, at Donovan’s Surf Club, we still get to make the most of the warm Coffs Coast winter sun, with the Pacific Ocean glimmering on our doorstep and the humpback whales popping up to say hi on their way through. So, besides the best views on Coffs, what else do we have going on?
Dinner@Donovan’s
If you’ve been an avid Surf Club fan for a while, you’ll know that once a year we open up our doors to the public for a spree of dinners on our deck during summer. Well, we weren’t just content to wait another year to host you, so we’re doing a series of pop-up Dinners@Donovan’s. Our first one was a sell out, and our next one, happening 22 June, is booking out fast! Book now!
Our chefs are offering your favourite Surf Club dinner classics, but we also have it on good authority that, after a sneaky trip to Spain, Matty has come up with a mouthwatering tapas menu too! Obviously, the bar will be open, pouring your favourite brews (we’re quite partial to a Donovan’s Lager ourselves!) and mixing up the classic cocktails.

Crazy Pancakes
We love a challenge, and so do our chefs, so, starting 10 June until 14 July, we’ve tasked them with coming up with their craziest pancake creations. These will be on our brekkie specials board every day for you to try, then you can vote for your favourites. Trust us, your tastebuds do NOT want to miss this!
Chowder Tuesdays
Winter is a time for comfort food, and what’s more comforting than Matt’s signature seafood chowder?! It’s kind of like a bowl full of happiness, incorporating the Coffs Coast’s freshest seafood in a creamy base, served with crusty bread. After we introduced Chowder Tuesdays back in Autumn, it’s been a hit, so we’re going to continue them running throughout winter too. Don’t say we don’t ever do anything for you!
Tradies’ Smoko
Tools down boys and girls, it’s smoko time! Look, we love a fine dining classic as much as the next person, but sometimes there’s a time and a place for a good ol’ classic, and that time is any time before 11am Monday – Friday, and that place is at Donovan’s Surf Club.
Tradies, we know you work hard and you’ve got big appetites, so we’re introducing our Tradie Burger just for you! Just rock up to the Surf Club in your work gear, and you can order our exclusive Tradie Burger. We’re talking $10 B+E rolls (with hash browns& bbq sauce, of course) and $15 deluxe rolls (double your bacon plus add cheese and avo). Still hungry? Start with the classic then construct your own with our add-ons. We promise this is building you’ll be excited to do! Available for takeaway from the Surf Club or use Menulog to get it straight to the shed.
