Today, we’re proud of the way the kitchen hums along, happily orchestrated by Matt Donovan. Matt’s team simply loves food with big fresh flavours – and you can really taste that love.
Shaekar (originally from India) creates wonderful dishes that pay homage to the quality of our local ingredients with just the right dash of Asian influence; while Pastry chef, Gay creates inspired cakes, tarts and slices for the restaurant and functions, plus she bakes to order for special occasions.
Meanwhile, Nicole’s front of house team demonstrates a true understanding of what ‘welcome’ really means. Everything works together in harmony. Between the dining areas and the decks is the full-service bar, now operated by a dedicated team, which continues to support fund-raising for the Club.
For our conferences, functions and weddings, the bar represents great value as drinks are charged at reasonable club rates – and on a consumption (not a package) basis.
