Crickets and cicadas are in the air, we’re doing the barefoot hot sand dash to get to the water, and everyone’s seeming that little bit more relaxed as the festive season approaches. With El Nino officially announced, we’re in for a sizzling summer.
We have a whole lot happening at Donovan’s Surf Club over the coming summer months. Here’s a sneak peek!
Dinners on the Deck
They’re baaaaack! If you’ve been a fan of the Surf Club for a while, you’ll already know about our summer dinners on the deck. For a limited time only, we dim the lights, open up our deck and offer dinners at dusk. Watch the sky cycle through its summertime colours while you enjoy a range of seasonal, tasty fare with friends or family. Of course, the bar is open offering a range of beer, wine and cocktails.
This year, our dinners run 27 December until 6 January including New Years Eve! These nights do book out, so we highly recommend booking online to guarantee your spot.

Did Someone Say Cocktails?!
We’re extremely excited to announce that the bar is now offering cocktails! Keep an eye out for your favourite classics. What better way to enjoy summer than on the deck with a pina colada in hand?! Our friends from the Coffs Harbour Surf Life Saving Club run the bar, with all proceeds going towards keeping people safe in the surf, as well as local education programs too. There’s not too often you can boast your beer is actually helping people out!
Dine In, Grab and Go, or Delivery
We know you love dining in at the Surf Club, but we also know you love convenience too! In addition to our usual dine in options, we also offer delivery via MenuLog, and we’ll be introducing a grab and go menu in January, meaning you spend less time waiting and more time enjoying the sunshine and the beach!
